Parking: Cascade trailhead

Steep, but relatively easy hike.  This is typically one of the first day hikes that Aspiring 46ers take on.

• It takes two hours to hike from the trailhead to the junction between Porter and Cascade
• Summit of Porter from the junction is .7 miles and takes about 30 mins
  • Porter is 4,059 ft in height (#38/46)
  • Return to the junction the way you came – takes about 20 mins
• Summit of Cascade is .3 miles from the junction (less than 30 minutes)
  • Hit treeline in less than five minutes from junction
  • Cascase is 4,098 ft in height (#36/46)
  • Bare rock climb at top with 360 degree views
